Doug did our bathroom feature wall and ensuite shower room tiles and they both look great. He's reliable, transparent with costs and incredibly tidy. Would recommend to anyone and would definitely use again.
Doug tiled our kitchen recently and did an amazing job. He was knowledgeable and helpful when he came to look at the space, offering options on what would look better or wouldn't work. He arrived promptly and finished the job in a day. We're so happy with how it's turned out. The tiling is incredibly neat and looks great, and we'll definitely be using him for any future tiling jobs.
Doug recently completed some porcelain tiling above our kitchen worktops, the backsplash and windowsill, and has been absolutely brilliant start to finish. His attention to detail, workmanship and the way he communicated with us throughout has been superb. Doug was brilliant from start to finish. He did a couple of jobs for us, tiling our bathroom floor and also our kitchen, both finished to a really high standard with great attention to detail. Great communication, reliable and professional. Doug was amazing, checking all the way through the process where I'd like the tiles placed to get the best look. He liaised patiently with the plumbing company who had let me down, which I very much appreciated. Doug always let me know his plans for the day and turned up exactly when he promised. Doug did a fantastic job tiling our bathroom. His attention to detail is second to none. He took so much care planning how our large tiles would be best arranged, lined up against edges and centred around the sink and toilet. He was extremely hard working, efficient and tidy, and a pleasure to have around. Update, July 2026: we asked Doug back to do our kitchen and he did an equally great job. He took a great deal of care aligning the metro tiles for the best appearance, and did a really lovely job going into the window recess for a professional finish. Highly recommend.

Do you supply the tiles or do I?
Customers supply their own tiles, given the vast range available and the fact that taste is so individual. If you would rather have a hand, I can advise on what will work best for the chosen area, and I'll happily recommend some local, reputable suppliers. I only ever use market-leading branded adhesives and grouts, which I supply myself.
Do you tank and waterproof wet rooms?
Yes. A wet room lives or dies on what happens before the first tile goes down. The floor is formed to the correct falls and the whole area is tanked so water cannot get behind or beneath the tiling. It is the part nobody sees and the part that matters most.
What kinds of tile do you work with?
Large-format, ceramic, porcelain, natural stone, slate, marble, glass, mosaic and patterned or Victorian tiles, on both walls and floors. After 25 years, all of it is day-to-day work.
Do you take on small jobs?
Yes. No job is too big or too small, from a single splashback or a tile repair through to a full bathroom or a large floor area. If you are not sure whether something is worth a visit, it is worth a call.
How much mess does tiling make?
Tiling and tile removal are dusty by nature, but keeping things clean and tidy is a point of pride. Floors get protected, cutting is done outside in a safe, contained area, and the working areas are left clean and tidy at the end of each day. In fact, many customers say the areas are left cleaner when I've finished than when I first arrived.
